Ashcroft Desert

333 Km north from Vancouver there is incredible small community of 2000 people - village Ashcroft. It is my second home after Vancouver. Except taking photographs around canyons I always enjoying food from my friend's vegetarian restaurant Secret Garden. And sleep over Desert Gem - one of the best B&B I've seen.
Flynn's landscapes

Athabasca Glacier is located around 100km south of Jasper, Alberta, Canada and it is part of Columbia icefield www.columbiaicefield.com . It was probably the most exciting place to be in my life. The Athabasca Glacier is shrinking very fast and this year signs are dated somewhere from 1920ties up to date. 1982 was most shootable for me and composition is really kind of centre formatted. But rules are breakable and this time center position is working for me. The ridge is entering the landscape creating depth in the photograph space and the 1982 sign is like sad reminder on its side. This location is really spectacular and combination of snow, glacier and dramatic clouds in the sky is my most adventurous shooting experience.
